NOSE: Opens with an oceanic fresh style showing beachy rock pools, warm sand and a harbour-like character. PALATE: Interestingly subtle initially till a mouth-puckering saltiness shows, followed by ash, soft summer tar, and gentle peat. FINISH: Now it's rather sweet and develops to something gently spiced, smoked, phenolic, coal dusty, sooty and long.
