It’s primarily made from Sangiovese grapes (80%), the dominant grape in Chianti wines. The remaining 20% is likely Pinot Noir, a common blending partner for Chianti Classico. Originates from the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany, Italy, a renowned area for producing Chianti wines. The “Classico” designation indicates it meets stricter production standards within Chianti.
