This Tomintoul Peated Malt has been distilled in the traditional manner in the prestigious Speyside Glenlivet region, and unusually for this district, it is made with peated malted barley. After “sleeping” for 15 years in hand-picked oak barrels, this aged whisky exudes heathery smokiness moderated by soft Speyside malt.

SWEET AND SOOTY WITH AROMAS OF CAMPFIRE SMOKE, GINGER BISCUITS, COFFEE GROUNDS AND SMOKED MEATS WITH A SUBTLE NETTLE FRESHNESS.
PALATE:
LAYERS OF HAZELNUT, SMOKY BACON AND TREACLE TOFFEES MINGLED WITH TOASTED OATS, PEAT SMOKE AND SWEET LIQUORICE WITH LEMON ZEST HIGHLIGHTS.
FINISH: NUTTY AND SMOKY WITH NOTES OF COFFEE CAKE, ROASTED PECANS AND LINGERING CLOVE SPICES
