A Diageo Special Release of Rosebank single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1992, a year before the Lowlands distillery closed. Matured in refill American oak casks and bottled for the 2014 Special Releases with an outturn of 4,530 bottles.

Triple distilled, this non-chilled filtered 21 year was one of only 4,530 cask strength (55.3% ABV) units bottled in 2014 and is highly coveted today.  Described by many whisky critics as the “King of the Lowlands” and “a Lowland Whisky that ranks amongst the best Speyside & Highland Malts”.  Bottles individually numbered which makes for a great momento and relic of a golden age.  A perfect gift for whisky aficionados and collectors.  Currently being snapped up worldwide as prices have escalated.

NOSE: Pale golden, rich aromatic wild roses with a combination of juicy citrus fruits.  Overall, a dominantly citrus floral nose. PALATE: Tinge of spicy ginger for freshness despite its long aging, leading to a sweeter palates that open up very well with a splash of water.  Good backbone of richer green olives, dates and fig extracts that balances the whole theme. FINISH: Warm yet tangy with sweet fruits leading to a long dryish finish. ABV: 55.3%, 700ml
