Made only in exceptional vintage years, this singular wine is the combination of exceptional vineyard and masterful winemaking. The cold and luminous climate at 1100 metres above sea level gives rise to this subtle blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, 5% Merlot aged for 12 months in American (50%) and French (50%) oak barrels, and a further 6 months in bottle.
Coffee and a nicely bloody streak to the very ripe blackcurrant fruit. Little glimpse of something schisty and mineral. Very good black fruit, with tight, silky, intense and spicy fruit and oak melange.

About Product
A blend of 70% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Syrah and aged for 12 months in French oak casks, and a further 12 months in bottle. Aromas of red ripe fruits, tobacco leaves and spice. The palate is full and concentrated with red and blackberry fruits and chocolate. Has a complex and long lasting finish.
