Château Carbonneau Séquoia 2020 is a distinguished red wine from the Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux appellation in southwest France. Named after the majestic 40-meter-high sequoia tree that overlooks the estate, this wine embodies elegance and depth.
Grape Composition: 18% Cabernet Franc, 66% Merlot, 16% Cab. Sauvignon
Winemaking Process: The grapes are destemmed & crushed before vatting. Cold mace- ration to extract both fruit and spices from skins before fermentation. Fermentation temperatures of 26-28°C for an optimal natural extraction of tannins & color. Aged for 1 year in old french barrels.

Wine Enthusiast: 90 points, noting its solid feel from black fruits, supported by tannins and fine acidity; recommended to drink from 2025.

Tasting Notes: The wine apperance is a deep garnet hue. With aroma of complex bouquet of black fruits, leather, and spices such as cloves. Full-bodied and elegant with silky tannins. The subtle oak influence enhances the richness of the ripe black fruits in the palate.
